On the 27th of November, Vestas is hosting Intern Day for anyone interested in internships within our Global Procurement and Group Financial Performance departments for Autumn 2024. During the event, you will be introduced to Vestas and hear more about what to expect from our internships. After a general introduction, you will choose to learn more about either Finance or Procurement, hearing from employees on different corporate levels about how their daily work creates value towards a greener and more sustainable future.

Global Procurement
Vestas Global Procurement is responsible for buying, tactical purchasing, and strategic sourcing activities within Vestas. We are responsible for all procurement activities, including leading global and cross-functional teams, developing and implementing commodity strategies, creating and capturing end-to-end value, supplier relationship management, supplier account management, and performance metrics monitoring and development. The Global Procurement team is divided into four main areas:
Direct Material Procurement
Indirect Procurement
Service Procurement
Procurement Excellence
As an intern in Global Procurement, you will be involved in projects to develop and implement forward thinking practices, while delivering value to customers through an end-to-end value chain approach. This keeps Vestas up-to-date by building relationships with the best suppliers, reducing waste across the value chain, and delivering benchmark cost levels for our products and services.
