Short Description
As a Sales Operations Consultant, you will provide general commercial support to a large global software organization for their software licensing operations to support internal sales team members AND channel partners in quoting, pricing, reporting activities to improve sales/revenue, efficiencies, maximize customer satisfaction and drive productivity by removing operational activities from the sales team.
This is a critical role, and the job requires an individual who is strategic, can help our client in how it onboards and engages with its internal and partner community.
Qualifications
- English – minimum B2 level
- At least 3 years of Quote to Cash/Sales Operations/Order Management/General Commercial Experience
- Experience supporting a sales environment, with demonstrated strong influencing skills
- Coming from a general commercial or sales operations or order management background at a large business in a high technology organization
- Exposure to Account Management, Customer Services, Project Management
- Knowledge of industry standard Order management processes feeding into ERP systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft proprietary tools for eCommerce, Configuration and Quoting etc. would be invaluable
- Basic knowledge about Cloud and Microsoft office suite, background in tech industry is a plus
- Experience in providing sales support to Enterprise grade High-tech environments leveraging service ticket and case management systems (ZenDesk/ServiceNow etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration or equivalent
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain deal activities that support sales opportunities and provide quotations to customers for future orders
- Responsible for reviewing customer agreements and processing new and add-on hardware/software purchases
- Working with the Sales Team on Quoting and Order processing
- Analyze customer contracts to ensure that the structure of pricing and licensing are consistent with price lists and company policies
- Invoice and proper delivery of documents to stakeholders to ensure timely payment
- Gathering information to perform analysis on how to best operationalize and respond to queries
- Ability to undertake order clean-up and adherence to approval matrix for non-standard T&C
- Activity: 20% voice / 80% non-voice
- Schedule: Mon - Fri (9:00 - 18:00 EET)
- Hybrid working policy: 40% Iasi office / 60% remote
