Job Family Group - General Management: Leads a significant part of the organization according to the long-term mission, vision, values, and objectives defined by GSK, with overall responsibility for multiple functional areas. Establishes objectives and strategies; oversees, monitors, and evaluates all business activities so that these strategies and objectives are met. Selects, or approves the selection of senior executives. Leads, evaluates, and develops executives in furthering business objectives, in compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations and laws. Establishes and adapts executive lines of control so that the organization's structure maximizes organizational performance. Represents the organization at public occasions and in interactions with external parties. Directs the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure and investments in infrastructure, technology, equipment, systems, or other assets and resources. Examples include, but are not limited to, Country/Area GMs, GMS Site Directors, R&D Therapeutic leadership.
